Farming question Empty Farming question

I have scouted a player and found him worth attacking. Attacked him, got nothing. Scouted him again to see how many resources did he manage to use, but found out nothing has changed. He had 75k gold and other resources yet I got nothing from my attack. How is that possible? Please see attached images for more info.

I'm thinking, does that have something to do with his warehouse being very big, like a certain % of the warehouse capacity cannot be looted?

it has to do with his castle stratigy , one of them prevents from being plundered.
